Check out this cool old rust free VW Microbus that has been in California since day one and first sold at Competition VW in Woodland Hills California. Although the original color was Neptune Blue, the previous owner opted for a Charcoal Grey repaint many years ago and it still looks presentable. The factory steel wheels and Chrome hubcaps look great along with the Chrome bumpers, trim and dual mirrors. Under that unassuming rear engine lid sits a hopped up 1904 CC performance motor built by CB Performance with a little over 500 miles on it. Options include dual carbs, new case, Eagle Racing cam, Super race Rods, Ultralight lifters, Mahle big bore pistons, Forged Chromoly crank, lightweight flywheel, dual Weber ICT carburetors, engine dress up kit, external oil cooler with electric fan and a Stainless Steel Sidewinder exhaust system to let that little beast breathe. The 4 speed transmission shifts great with it’s new Kennedy Clutch kit and it has improved slotted rotors with front disc brakes for better stopping power. The interior is stock including the original steering wheel, rubber flooring, Sapphire AM Radio, and Black vinyl seating. It also comes with a few added VDO gauges and a center seat that the previous owner never upholstered or installed in case you want to haul around some more friends or family with you. Not only are these old busses collectible but they are fun to drive and simple to maintain.
